Barróg Healthcare is a small, private health and social care provider with offices in Dublin and Cork and services nationwide, providing residential care and day packages to enable people who need support across the areas of mental health, disability, aftercare and mainstream social care. We pride ourselves on working to support and champion both our service user’s and staff.

Aftercare

Our Aftercare service offers individual support packages to young people aged 18 and up to 21 years old, our service aims to provide a positive experience for young people as they grow and develop into young adults.

Disability

We provide tailored, person-centred support to children, young people, and adults with a range of physical, learning, and developmental disabilities. Our outreach team works within the community, delivering support that extends beyond traditional care settings and into everyday environments where people live, learn, work, and socialise.

One round of Competency Based Interviews on MS Teams for Support Worker/ Social Care Worker roles.

All applicants will be subject to reference checks, Garda Vetting, and a request to provide security clearance from any country in which they resided for more than 6 months after their 16th birthday.

Yes. We do need a few HSE Land trainings to be completed prior to your start date.
All remaining in person and online trainings will be done after you join.

For Social Care Workers, Candidates must have a relevant qualification in Social Care. At a minimum, a B.A. in Social Care, Fetac Level 7, or other CORU accepted qualifications in Social Care AND must be registered as a Social Care Worker with CORU and have commenced their application to register as a Social Care Worker with CORU.

For Support Worker roles, a minimum of a QQI Level 5 major award (8 components / modules) in Health or Social Care or equivalent is required OR a commitment to complete the major award if some components / modules are already completed.

Depending on the role that you apply for: you could be based in Dublin, Kildare or Cork, and we have new units opening up all the time. This will be discussed at the time of interview.

You will be given a T-shirt, fleece, and ID badge on your start date.
